Sorry peeps. No recipe today. I’ve just spent the last hour or two bashing my head repeatedly over my desk trying to pen a new ‘about page’. Okay, that’s a slight exaggeration, but it was pretty darn difficult all the same. Would you believe me if I said it was an awful lot easier to write about food than yourself? One can’t help but feel supremely egotistical when writing/talking about oneself. Have you said too much? Or conversely, have you left out the facts that actually matter? It’s a process filled with doubt. Characterised by backspacing. Re-typing. Backspacing again.
We got there in the end. Is it a step up from the original? That’s your call. There are no longer any shockingly corny lines such as “I’m just a 19-year-old Aussie girl” (thanks guys for pointing that out to me, repeatedly. You know who you are), or at least here’s hoping. Regardless of if there have been any improvements, it felt as though the time was ripe for an update. It’s been just over a year (yes a year, how time flies) now since tastewithoutwaste was born and that’s a good excuse as any for a teeny-tiny make over.
